The idea that only radical feminists hate men is laughable. You have to be so, completely, utterly, willfully ignorant to think otherwise. It's literally everywhere. It's extreme online, but casual degradation of men is mainstream culture, it's on primetime TV shows, it's in movies.

While misogyny is censored, banned, and pushed to a few dark corners of the internet online, overt male hatred is on the front page, allowed, and encouraged. Men have been under the verbal lash far worse than anything women can imagine for years. In every moment, at every site. Men are oppressors. Men are toxic. Men are all rapists. Men all have privilege over women. Men with their evil gaze. Men with their gatekeeping of power. Men controlling women's bodies. All other forms of the original sin men are smeared with. #killallmen #menaretrash #banmen #maletears #abolishmen #menarepigs. Did you choose the bear? Front page. Celebrated hashtags. No bans, no censors. Or is all this just mansplaining? They sell fucking T-Shirts and mugs: "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them!", "Men are Trash", "Male Tears".

The amount of hatred for women online is an almost insubstantial drop in the ocean compared to the hatred displayed towards men - both in magnitude and sanction. Boys are denigrated as a sex from the moment they step into grade school up until the moment they die, and the internet is no refuge as it is overwhelmingly anti-male.

The belief system between radical feminists and other women is actually a whole order of a magnitude different: By some bizarre brain damaged logic, most radical feminists deny hatred of men can even exist. I guess when your entire life is modelled on a concept it becomes so normal you don't see it as exceptional and worth mentioning.

It's not going away, so just turn it right around on them.

You don't have to look hard to see it. Pretty much all of the women focused subreddits have turned into the female equivalent of MGTOW. Just a bunch of angry toxic women renting about how terrible all men are.

Yep, and yet I still see feminists, even "good feminists", claim misandry doesn't really exist. And the things said to men (bad things) aren't misandry because they're also said to women. Even though when bad things are said to women it's seen as misogynistic. But, you know, the bar for misandry is very high, bar for misogyny is very low.

Yup, can't disagree with you. It's literally everywhere. Movies, series, commercials, everywhere on social media, etc. I don't hate women but its not worth the risk so I try my best to avoid them in public. A tip for you guys, when you use the health care system try your best to always request a male Dr., male nurse, male technician, etc. It's nearly impossible because its so dominated by women, probably 80%. I have always been very polite but had some terrible experiences with female nurses. They would never treat a woman the way i was treated and a male nurse would never treat a man or woman that way.

Even when they are in a relationship, it’s common to see frustration or constant complaints about their partner.

At the same time, even small achievements by women are widely celebrated, which is great, but it often feels like men’s efforts or accomplishments are overlooked or taken for granted. Observing all this can sometimes be disheartening and demotivating—it leaves me feeling unseen and underappreciated.

My comment might be kicked off because I am a woman but I will say that radical feminism isnt the cause of the hatred. Radical feminism is blamed even though it is such a small percentage of women who are indeed radical feminist. Honestly the word is made up to evoke a sentiment in men to make them assume all women hate men.

This simply isnt true. Just because its screeched the loudest, doesnt make it true. If men turned off media and just examined the world they would realize a lot of women are desperate to be with a man. They want human connection, they want to be with a man but there is a level of disappointment in men due to personal experiences that prevent them from getting rid of the chip on their shoulder.

I agree, radical feminist aren't the only ones spreading misandry, moderate feminists also do it or enable the behavior of radical feminists, there are non-feminist women that say misandrists stuff as well and even some men are misandrists. Misandry is so rampant you find it almost everywhere.

Misandry is weak and does not exist without misogyny. It seems a lot of men that feel “victim to misandry” need to look at the root of the problem; misogyny. A lot of men seem to never want to place the blame on other men around them and immediately jump to that women are the problem. Misogyny is way more dangerous than misandry will ever be.

You can’t get rid of misandry without getting rid of misogyny. That is why feminism is needed and if you can’t see that, you might want to wake up a bit and stop acting victim. It’s harsh but true.

Working together as men and women is the only way to true freedom and equality.

I respectfully disagree with this post.

Nowhere do I see hatred for men. There are always people who have extreme views, hate all members of certain group etc. But those are exceptions.

I don't know any other woman around me who thinks men are bad. What you say about retaliating against men - I've seen individual cases like that, but I've never seen it happening on a large scale. The fact that courts are being lenient with women is a problem and it actually comes from sexism, not feminism.

Hi, as a feminist, i can assure you missandry is very real. Unfortunately, its been done by both men AND women. The amount of times I've stood up for men and have been shamed for it is absolutely horrible. I've faced the same when i stood up for women. Men are way more likely to be raped and abused by other men than be accused of rape (by both male and female predators), yet, whenever ive seen a man speaks about his rape or abuse, ive seen a string of men say things like 'wish it were me'

When men speak about their emotions, women and men both say things like 'men dont cry', or 'stop being a girl'

Dads dont let their sons display any emotions while mothers ruin their sons by becoming too emotionally dependent on them. Hate against men needs to stop. We women have to do better by our sons and not put excess emotional burden on them. Men have to start lettinv their sons express emotions so they know how to control themselves and not lose temper.

Women need to start accepting that men would rather not be the provider, not shame men who earn low or would rather raise kids. Men need to do the same
