Hmm, they blame social media for this phenomena, but I think they're looking at it backwards. Yes, the various new communication avenues are certainly to blame, but not because of all the picture and ideal life sharing as they imply. Instead, I'd posit that it's because folks can more easily share their experiences with others. We can see how lopsided divorce is, and how horrible it is for men.

I only needed to see that once ( friend of a friend ) to know I wanted no part of that process.

Good. Dont marry ever. It is a contractual trap where you sign off on all your rights and hard earned money - for someone that will hate you for life and make you emotionally pay for it.

Not only did Jesus choose not to marry, he encouraged his disciples to abandon household and domestic concerns in order to follow him (Matthew 19:29; Mark 10:28-30; Luke 9:57-62). He even refers to those “who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:10-13). Whatever that means, it’s certainly not an endorsement of marriage. Paul likewise encourages male believers: “Do not seek a wife” (1 Corinthians 7:27, my translation) — advice Paul took for himself.

Good. Legal marriage should be abolished. We should just have default 50/50 custody and the parents deciding if they want to or not want to live together. They could network and form communes to replace the extended family that industrialization destroyed.

Good. I have nothing against marriage. But until divorce and custody law changes for the better, boycott marriage.

Can we stop calling government sanctioned heterosexual monogamy traditional marriage? It's been tradition for a very short time in history.
