Women are more socially inclined as a whole therefore it makes sense that social media attracts a lot of women. What really gets my goat, is that boys men are not allowed their own spaces anymore and for the most part MUST constantly be around women and as such be subject to their judgement and critique. Even the boy scouts of America now include girls. Makes me want to start a fraternal organization ala Al Bundy's NO MA'AM (national organization of men against Amazonian masterhood)

Mixture of, it's currently ok to hate on men.

Plus, either reddit as a whole or those specific subs are female heavily commented/voted upon. The self reported gender isn't reliable. Many women select male to avoid the perverts, been that way for 20+ years, without mentioning the female trolls.

Boysarequirky rapidly grew and quickly became an anti-male femcel subreddit to the point where I saw a +1000 upvoted post saying misandry isn’t real… that’s not even the point of the sub in the first place

There is plenty. Funny enough on the r/AITAH sub its being called out more and more recently. So many times, the whole sub would call the man asking a question an asshole. Then, a week later, there would be a similar question by a woman who would get called, not the asshole. Shockingly, people started calling it out, and they got tons of upvotes. Misandry is still rampant. But, at least it seems some people are starting to speak out.

The worst part about these subs is that they don’t even allow outside or opposing opinions. I challenge so many of these misandrist views and either get my comment taken down or banned from the subreddit. Like they’re all just fascist echo chambers of misandry

I hate it, dude. The worst is when women think they are experts on men's mental health, are dismissive of the huge lack of men in the field and say things like "well men should suck it up and see a woman therapist."

Women can absolutely be abusers and you would not tell an abused woman to "suck is up and see a male therapist" when their abuser is a male. This is exactly why women's shelters do not hire men.

But no, men must suck it up and be vulnerable, not to benefit themselves, but to benefit the women around them.

Sharing sources on why men are not reaching out and the response is "stop whining about toxic masculinity."

The worst part of it is that this shit spills into subs that you would think are pro men based on the title. The passport bros subreddit is incredibly sensitive towards not even criticism of western women but simply comparisons between western women and non western women. Even though the point of the whole movement was for men to get away from western women. Yet they allow white knights and feminist to brigade the sub damn near every single day. So many posts with obvious feminist talking points being highly upvoted. Most cucked moderation of any sub I've ever seen.

This is the only safe space for men on reddit.

You should spend less time on gender subs or unpopular opinion/ask subs. Nobody is talking about gender on the books or music or gardening or hiking or whatever subs.
