This is one of the biggest leaps I have seen with the use of that word.

Various elements of her tenure went mainly unremarked, therefore: her Covid response, her announcement that Finland would apply to join Nato in May 2022, her social and fiscal policies that we might broadly classify as “the business of government”

The expansion of Nato went unremarked? Is this writer of sound mind?

She indeed lost to a man but the election results were way too tight imo for the 'muh misogyny' excuse. Marin had 19.9% of the votes, her main opponent, Petteri Orpo, 20.8% and the far-right, also represented by a woman, Riikka Purra, 20.1%. But I guess the left leaning Guardian won't say a lot about this woman defeat...
