It seems there is a lot of confusion on this reddit when it comes to peoples tones in their messages. Having not seen a thread myself that adresses this issue I felt it necissary to start one. I suck at analogies so bear with me here. Consider if you will that we are currenty involved in a "civil" war of ideas. Civil being relative to terms of engagement. Our enemy is feminism, and the people who generally subscribe to it.

Our enemy is not women, or people in general, but an idea. We don't want feminists agreeing with us, we want women agreeing with us. A feminist agreeing with us will eventually lay claims to our beliefs/ideas and twist them to their own ends, because that's what feminism does. A woman agreeing with us however maintains autonomy and brings fresh perspective to our overall movement. Keeping this in mind, when someone insults feminism they're just firing ammunition at the enemy. When someone insults women however, they're firing upon civilians. See the difference? I don't care if you swear up to high heaven and say the most vile things towards feminism, it's a dangerous movement and it's only cause in modern day is to try to make life even better for western women at the cost of men. So don't come on to this board asking me to care about what you say when you proclaim to be a feminist, unless you are comming here with an open mind and are prepared to leave your religion.

It saddens me to no end that we have to have a MRM/feminist movement when we should just have a humanist movement. If I could have it my way we wouldn't have Feminism or MRM. We're all goddamn people, the sooner people can grow up and realize that, the sooner we might be able to move on with our lives. Sorry if my writting is poor, I never do it.
