It's a start. People are starting to acknowledge that this is not OK. Hopefully one day we will see the end of that hateful "He's male. He enjoyed it really" BS you still get.

This is good. I've been an orientation week (Welcome Week) rep at university... and the double standard there was ridiculous. The guys are constantly told to not have relations with first years, and if we're even caught flirting there's reprecussions -- have to be really careful. Yet the female reps get away with openly talking about the cute guys, and I spotted a few of the female reps in bedrooms with the guys. I brought it up as a double standard, and was simply told 'those girls would never do anything bad.'

Taking advantage of first years at university is taking advantage. Doesn't matter what genders are involved... power situations, and taking advantage of power situations always occurs.

I'm a bit confused about the wording. "sexual harassment in higher education is against the law" ... isn't sekuhara against the law in all levels of education, low and high?

I just feel like it should maybe be worded supplementary like "is also against the law" acknowledging that people get that it's wrong in the lower levels. The wording is odd it's like it implies it being wrong in a void or something.

Also in spite of 'higher' making me think of college, the picture and 'TA' makes me think of high school.

Also I don't like that the poster uses 'creepy'. I don't like creep-shaming. How about "it makes me uncomfortable, and I don't want her to"?

I noticed it says, "human rights" in the bottom right. That brings up something I've been wanting to say, should we change our name from the Mens rights movement to the Equality movement? it'll get rid of the bad name people auto-assume when they here "Men's Rights" (because they think Men don't have problems) and it'll get a lot of more donation money.

Lol I'd love to see one of my "ta's" try something. Or any woman I wasn't interested in for that matter... Really isn't that hard to say no.. If she was dumb enough to persist she would be in trouble or embarrassed. Not like I'm gonna cry myself to sleep cuz some person couldn't control herself. As a grown man, dealing with ppl who lack control is a daily occurrence. I deal with it and move on...
