Just a reminder, for anyone genuinely engaging, and for any feminist lurkers looking for “gotcha” material:

Men’s rights advocacy, at its core, is about equality for everyone. Including men and women.

We don’t want to go backward. We’re not here to chain women to the kitchen sink or punish them for getting an education. Women have every right to pursue careers, degrees, and independence, just like men do.

What we do want is fairness:

-In family courts, where fathers are too often sidelined

-In education, where boys are falling behind

-In mental health, where men are told to “man up” until they break

-In legal and social systems that often assume men are disposable or dangerous by default

To stay legitimate and effective, the men’s movement must be willing to call out its own fringe, just like any movement should. We’ve seen what happens when ideologies let their loudest radicals speak for everyone. Feminism lost its balance when it stopped including men’s issues and started tolerating female exceptionalism. We’re not making that mistake.

Being pro-men doesn’t mean being anti-woman. It means advocating for a world where no one gets written off, regardless of gender.

I’ve got no issue with a woman wanting to be a doctor, engineer, lawyer or whatever path she chooses. Same way it should be totally fine for a man to be a nurse or kindergarten teacher if that’s what he’s into.

Nobody needs to be chained to the kitchen sink🤣 we’re past that.

If a couple wants to go full traditional with a single income and defined roles, that’s their choice. But personally?? I appreciate an educated woman who can help shoulder the load. Life’s expensive, and partnership should feel like a team effort, not a lopsided deal.

For the record, I cook, clean (sort of), and carry my weight. If I date again, I want a partner — not another responsibility.

And yeah, this ties into men’s rights because in divorce, the system often limits fathers and favors mothers by default. That’s the real issue. But blaming women for getting an education is missing the point entirely.

Divorce nullified marriage. There isn't any other way to look at it. When you can sign one piece of paper to get in and then sign another piece of paper to get out, that means there are no promises, no guarantees, and few if any real benefits for men. The only reason modern marriage is still a thing is because women want it. Women know modern marriage gives them the upper hand in their relationships with men. if it didn't you wouldn't see women being so up ass about it. The only reason I could see a man signing up for marriage is because it is the easiest and most cost effective way to get a kid, and that assumes everything goes well.

So, no. The evidence does not support the idea that attaining education = planning to divorce.

It can definitely look like a backup plan if you’re already questioning the relationship. But for a lot of women going back to school isn’t about leaving. It’s about security, contribution, or just wanting to finish what they started.

Life changes. Kids grow up, industries shift, and depending on one income forever isn’t always practical. Building skills or a career isn’t automatically planning for divorce. It’s planning for uncertainties.

And honestly if someone is going to leave they don’t need a degree to do it. Education doesn’t cause the split, it just gives people more options. If the relationship is solid, options shouldn’t be a threat. If it’s not, the problem was never the degree.

Not if the problem that arise is that her partners ego cannot handle her personal success. If the partner is so insecure that they see the females success a threat, that they will only want to stay if they are dependant on you, instead of a contribution to the relationship then it's the partners view that is flawed. A woman doesn't have to cater to a man's ego and put her aspirations to the side to prove her love and loyalty. This is why women stay single we would rather do that then be put in a box like you own us only to me leashed to clean and cook for you.

Yeah, everything’s overregulated, performative, and stale and it’s exhausting when you actually care. But trying to fight it all at once will burn you out. Not because you’re wrong, but because the system feeds on that kind of rage.

Taoist thought reminds us: not everything needs to be pushed. Water carves stone by flowing, not smashing.

You don’t have to fix it all. Just don’t lose yourself in the process. Embrace your weirdness. Keep your fire. Speak when it matters. Rest when it doesn’t.
