I don’t see politicians in any state taking a stance in support of men’s rights.

While many feminist pushed anti-male laws have been supported most notably by liberals, the recent selective service issue makes it very clear conservatives are no great supporter of equal rights either.

Regardless of which political party has control in a state, don’t expect they will support equal rights for men.

So when are us MEN going to collectively get off of the internet and actually do SOMETHING? Do I believe this bill will pass? No. But the ramifications are HUGE. Write/call/email every elected official and tell them how disgusted you are with this bill. We also need a massive protest. Women do it. You’re telling me, we can’t organize? I know it’s an uphill battle, but things are only going to get worse of our voices aren’t heard and our lives respected.

Well I was just learning about that new child support bill from Republicans. It's some real scary shit. So it looks like men are going to be screwed either way.

I'm in Texas and I see very little improvement in the situations of men's rights here with the court system... I believe the corruption of the court system seems to be money driven for lawyers and judges, and putting men in prison and making them pay creates business for them so they use cases against men if that man has money or land to go after. If the man is completely broke they won't bother prosecuting.

Neither tradcons nor progressives will support men's rights.

The libertarian faction of the right is likely the least-worst from a men's rights perspective (they'd be most willing to accept a Karen DeCrow style perspective on abortion and legal paternal surrender, and they're the most likely to insist on absolute gender-neutrality in laws), but they aren't a particularly strong presence in conservative politics outside of New Hampshire and perhaps a few other states.

In the event of a national divorce in the USA, I'd think the best bet for men's rights would be to work at the state level in the more liberty-minded red states, but there would still be imperfections. Thankfully there MIGHT be less danger from the 'federal' level in red-state federation (due to federalism).

But tradcons will still need to be fought and guarded against.

Neither the left nor traditional right are good for men. The left is dominated by feminism, and are fighting to punish males and give females extra privledges and advantages. If any states were to flat out try to shut down the men's rights movement, it would be leftist states. They are the ones who have been attacking speech and opinions they don't like. The traditional right is trying to live in the 1950s, and can't accept the fact that society and women have changed. They support marriage, and the status quo as to family courts, alimony, child support, etc. Neither party is good for men, and neither are floating any policy positions that would help men. If I had to pick, I'd go with the conservatives because at least they aren't actively trying to make things worse for us like the left.

Personally it’s going to be a very mixed bag here in Texas. I can easily see old school conservatives push laws to force what men into unfair old school gender roles setting us back in the 50’s while not changing anything for women. I can also see them doing a bachelor’s tax again.
