red pill: "The game is rigged, here's how to win"
MGTOW: "The game is rigged, the only winning move is not to play"
MRA: "The game is rigged, let's fix it"

They are different solutions to overlapping problems facing men today.

Men's rights focuses on bringing attention to and fixing legal, public policy, and social discrimination.

Red pill focuses on the unfortunate realities of dating by spreading awareness, and getting men to turn their lives around so they don't become alone, or worse, doormats in sexless abusive relationships.

MGTOW focuses on the unfortunate realities of marriage by spreading awareness and warning men off of government sanctioned indentured servitude.

There wasn't nearly as much overlap until reddit shut the other two down and we became the only place to talk about men's issues.

I don't think anyone who posts here is required to claim anyone or anything. One of the problems with modern politics is the idea that groups of people should agree on everything, or else they can't be expected to collaborate on anything.

That sort of thinking is a large part of the reason there's ever been a problem between men and women, the left and the right of politics, people who are white and people who aren't...

While these are not completely separate, Red Pill has a political/philosophical component that is extremely polarizing (justifiably or not), and that is not something that we want dividing people over the MRM.

RP/BP is more about the nature of the roles that we play out in society and how they interact, while the MRM is about fair and just treatment of everyone involved, however else you may feel about gender roles and expectations.

IMHO, the MRM should look at RP and the Trans movement in a similar light: Whatever their positions on the issues, the individuals themselves should be treated fairly, regardless of politics, philosophy, gender identity, etc.

I see the red pill movement more as a movement to highlight the entitled mindset of women who have been praised too much online. Women have a perceived higher value of their looks because they get 1,000 likes on a picture they posted on the Internet. Let's just ignore the fact that the picture was seen by 2 million people.

Men's rights, to me, is more around how the legal system and society are looking to lift women up by putting men down. Eg. "We're a woman owned business so we don't hire men." or "The woman carried that child for 9 months so you will pay her for it, even though it's not your child."

The red pill is superficial and doesn't actually do anything productive . Men's issues need to be addressed at a societal level, not just how to get laid and be a wanker

Men's rights has more of an activism goal and/or is concerned with injustice, red pill is just random members of the public that have some common personal opinions. They aren't connected but because society is so gynocentric there naturally emerges multiple different groups that have concerns with the way men are being treated.
