Haha no obviously not. There are plenty of left-wing users here, and even a men's rights sub specifically for people on that end of the spectrum (/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates).

It's just another thought-terminating cliche that they use to dismiss people. I support a bunch of left-wing positions and I've been told I'm alt-right. It's nonsense. You are who you are.

Addressing high suicide rate of men
Adressing high work fatalities of men
Asking government to address men's health too
Opening domestic violence shelters for men

Conservatives and trads are no better than feminists. Men have and will always suffer by following them. They promote an idealization of women and male disposability. There is nothing pro-male in conservatives and trads.

While I agree with the other posters in this thread, equality for men is a thorny issue. It doesn't need to be, but that doesn't change the fact that it is. It isn't really a political issue, despite people wanting to politicize it.

I am a pro-egalitarian and think all individuals should be treated equally, men and women alike. The sad truth is that the western world is clearly stacked against men currently.

Not only does it hamper their education, punish male behaviors, and stigmatize them for simply being male, but it also attempts to belittle them. It mocks them and insults them. Men are the butt of the jokes. To be fair, we enjoy somewhat harsh humor so we can handle that, yet if similar jokes were told about women the same people would lose their careers.

Daring to argue for true equality doesn't make you a conservative or a liberal. Daring to argue for equality makes you a pariah. This isn't a bad thing. Taking a stand based upon principles, rather than politics, and suffering for them is noble. Isn't equality for all worth fighting for?

This is fairly common among the extreme left in general. Anyone who is further right than them is a conservative by default. It exists on the right too, but is not as prevalent.

Neither extreme acknowledges centrists and uses the opposite side as a boogiman to lay all evil under.
