Child Support should be calculated based on the average cost of raising a child in that region of the country. It shouldn't have anything to do with how much the non-custodial parent makes.
If you accept that mothers should have the right to put their children up for adoption, then in the name of equality you must also extend that right to men in the way of Legal Paternal Surrender. You can't make the argument that LPS hurts the child without admitting that adoption hurts the child as well.

The interesting thing here is not the attitude, it's the complete lack of ownership regarding reproductive responsibility.

Whats the alternative? Force her to get an abortion? its her body you know...

Opt out of paying child support? Cool, let the woman struggle and worry about how she's gonna feed the child.

You helped making that child. Take responsibilty and support it, with whatever means possible.
