As has been widely discussed, in the wake of the recent misogynistic killing spree (4 men, 2 women), feminists have been gleefully striving to paint the killer as an MRA.

Fortunately, he really wasn't a neckbeard... and I'm not terribly concerned.

However, we must envision a doomsday scenario in which this happens again... and this time the killer really is an MRA, who goes out of his way to chain us to him.

To prepare for this, let us embrace non-violence. We know men's rights is going to be a long, arduous struggle, and that's okay. But by rejecting in advance any criminal act done in the name of our cause, we can protect ourselves from the actions of a lone maniac who is out for attention, as well as from those who can't wait to exploit tragedy for political gain. When any MRA calls for violence, we must calmly reject this.

Now, if you're eating Pringles on a train and a crazy lady starts trying to choke you, that's different... non-violence doesn't mean you can't defend yourself.

But we must say 'no' to anyone who calls upon us to use force to advance our agenda.
