I'm the evil cis-gendered white male.

I got into the MRM after doing a homework assignment in 9th or 10th grade about it. A lot of the points that had been stewing in my adolescent brain were apparently well-hashed and I decided that the MRM is a great thing. I'm 22 now and still fighting for gender equality.

What is considered being involved in the "movement" ?

I am not an activist, I don't consider myself to be part of any "movement", and frankly I don't really care all that much, and I'll admit it.

I just browse this forum because I am interested in learning more about injustice in the family courts, family law, child custody, marriage and divorce etc.

I feel marginalized and rejected by society as a 24 year old male. I don't have to justify my feelings to anybody, I feel this way, and so I come here.

I browse this forum because I feel women have it pretty good, but they want it all. They want everything, at the expense of men. That is why I come here.

Women are in an advantaged position in university enrollment, graduation rates, government jobs, and even pay in many sectors. But they won't admit it. I hate hypocrisy more than anything else. Anecdotal evidence: My buddies GF makes money money than me, him, and most of my male friends. We have engineering degrees, she's in the government....great pay, benefits, cannot get fired. Studies that showing wage disparity make no claims about causality. There is no malicious discrimination occurring that leads to lower "average"(I'm not in a position to know if an arithmetic average is even the correct statistical measure to use...) wages for women.

I don't hate women. MRAs don't hate women. More than anything MR is a collection of disaffected males. I come here because I have been rejected by society, the economy, I feel disenfranchised and I don't have a lot of positive things in my life. I see people on the internet lambasting young people for getting BAs and Liberal arts degrees, and reinforcing the false claims that there is a skills shortage. I have a engineering degree, where is my well paying, living wage job? I do have a job, but its not something to build a career on, and its intellectually unsatisfying.

I come here because there are no special interest groups for males. I don't feel that anybody gives a fuck about me

I'm a white male from the USA. Mid-30s.

2) Men's Rights gives a voice and support to men who are currently unheard or under represented with regards to certain issues.

3) Being part of the MR movement has opened my eyes to the fact that men are no longer valued by society. Our health/well being/feelings are dismissed in favor of women's health/well being/feelings

4) Generally, I feel that most people who are against men's rights are uneducated and fear mongering. They are working under assumptions that just aren't true and are also unwilling to listen to reason and/or logic.
