Section 8 is government subsidized housing for single moms. Where they get a nice modern place and only pay like $100 or so a month.

It destroys families in the US because women choose that over husbands.

Guy seems a bit confused. You can get section 8 without having a kid. And you can get section 8 as a man. And you can get section 8 as a family with husband and wife or even boyfriend and girlfriend.

Landlords aren’t turning down section 8 because of single mothers but because while not all section 8 people are trash a lot of trash people take advantage of section 8.

The fact is accepting vouchers usually means getting a higher rent than market and a large portion is guaranteed as a monthly payment from the government. It’s often a good deal for landlords particularly in poorer markets. But if you are in a quickly increasing market there’s much less incentive to lock yourself into HUDs rent scheme.
