People often say that women get smaller sentences and I agree but most people(even men's rights supporters) just nod their heads when told men commit more crimes and basically say it is what it is. While I partly agree I do not think that's the whole truth. Crime is an action or omission which constitutes an offense and is punishable by law. We must ask, why is something considered a crime? IMO it's simply because usually society and the people who make decisions in the society decided that something has such a negative impact on other people that it must be punished by the law for the society to function(at least ideally that's the reason). And IMO a lot of negative actions females do is simply not punished as harshly or not punished at all. What would happen if we took harming someone's reputation, making false claims even if it does not get to police/court more seriously or make them punishable? These are just the things that came to my mind. Maybe you guys can write some other actions females usually do, has a negative impact on society, and maybe should be treated as a crime?
