I would say yes, but before you do, make sure you have a sample frozen for later use, for when/if you want kids later in life.

Also, keep in mind that your value to women goes down since you can't procreate naturally.

I had a vasectomy when I was 28. I told the doc I wasn't interested in having a family. He reminded me that this was a "permanent" procedure. I said, "cut away, my good man!" 10 years later I got married and had my vasectomy reversed-no problem.

If you reckon you don't want, and never will want kids, get it done. As had been mentioned, you can always get some sperm frozen, but if you have no objections to adoption, you always have that.

Not everyone needs to follow the marriage and/or kids path, do if you don't want to and funny want to run the risk, it's a fairly straight forward and swift procedure.

Otherwise, keep an eye out for Vasalgel male contraception
