Well that makes my decision easier then, I'm having my body cremated in the event of my death, the fact that this was even suggested as an idea by people calling themselves 'ethicists' is fucking disturbing.

I'm not religious, I just don't like the idea of my DNA being used on further generations before I die? Here's a moral conundrum I bet they'll haven't thought of with this idea. What happens if you've already got kids and grandkids and then some sociopath sperm jacks you and inserts themselves into the family that way?

Don't they have any idea how fucked up they sound? People in the comments page have already pointed this issue out as well which is great, it's the same deal with women being pro-choice when it comes to giving birth. People seem to think they're entitled to whatever a man has just based on blood relation or DNA, what the fuck?

Only so long as responsibility for the usage of sperm is transferred along with ownership of the sperm.

If a man dies and his heirs now 'own' his sperm and can dispose of it as they see fit, any child produced should be seen legally as their offspring and not as the offspring of the deceased.

As seen years ago in this case currently when ownership of sperm is transferred responsibility for it's disposal remains with the producer.
