I don’t know we should have a moment of silence or a moment of laughter. Either way, let’s just take a moment and see something here. Women dismiss male gamers as losers with no social life why? Because they play video games and create and upload/stream what game they play? No how do you explain women doing webcam and OF? Are they losers with no social life as well? It’s almost no different that they create and upload their pornography on the internet.

sadly, as a girl who used to play more seriously, girl drama pretty much ruined it. Not a “not like the other girls” moment, have plenty of healthy sustainable relationships with my fellow women.

It’s more that at least in my experience in WoW PvE was that couple drama and girls nudes drama was so prevalent. Most people are honestly trash at the game, gender aside. Girls definitely had advantages in gearing and preference in some guilds. It just was a shit show.

Then once things flipped and you couldn’t call people (simping guys and the girls causing it) out on it anymore, it just got more toxic.

All I wanted to do was clear content and log off. Women provided most of my trouble more so in the gaming space than anywhere else. And I barrel race for fucks sake.

In general the internet sucked less in the early 2000’s.

Sorry for my genders part in the overall loss of what was once great.

This is possibly the worst take I have ever seen. Its lies like this that causes the movement to lose its credibility and is the reason why the media doesn't take us seriously. I am going to assume that you are just deluded and not a feminazis provocateur trying to get us cancelled and answer honestly but lets be honnest you probably are just a feminazi.

1) The general portayal of gamers as losers was not propegated by women. It was the generally supported position of mainstream culture pushed by a male dominated media industry and sports industry.

2) Your section on the rise of gamer girls is also incredibly misleading. From a more objective viewpoint this timeperiod can be considered the mainstreaming of gaming. With gaming becoming such a normalised experience gamers lost their monolithic identity. It was arround this time that many minority groups started to develop their own position inside the gaming industry. This included girls amongst many others such as LGBTQ groups etc.

3) Its objectively true that sexism is the reason why there aren't more female gamers. You can try to spout some bs about biological difference but that isn't going to fly. Its the same with other groups and is why to this day there are often very distinct comunities for LGBTQ people who play video games.

4) The two all girl gamer groups you mentioned where both novelties that did not recieve mainstream attention. Furthermore in at least one of those cases the team wasn't even made to be competitive with many better female players overlooked in favour of creating a team more marketable to male players.

5) If you think that gaming isn't packed to the gills with misogyny you haven't been playing most multiplayer games. Its incredibly common and is the reason why most women don't play with randoms online. Try playing with a sister or any of your female friends and it becomes immediately obvious that this is a real and large problem.

6) There is clear and documented evidence that gamergate was a malicous harrasement campaign organised simply to justify harrsment and to try to convert a more general audience to contribute to the harrasment alongside the forum boards that originally started them.

7) Furthermore the claims that gamergate and the alt-right have no relations is simply false. Many of the most prominent members and leaders of the gamergate movement went on to be leading members of alt-right and far right groups.

8) G4TV is brought up as a "victory" yet is an example of women being harrassed and cancelled for trying to move into what is seen as a male industry.

You are talking about a subset of female gamers. I know they are popular. For obvious reasons. Many women have been playing games and mmos without revealing they are women. There are many game streamers who don't have an OF or prefer to use an avatar.
