A bit of hyperbole to get your attention. Does anyone see the treatment of men in the West as becoming analogous with how jews were treated in medieval europe? I'm not suggesting oppression (I think - I want to avoid oppression olympics). I just see that the way men are viewed in society as becoming increasingly hostile.

Some examples of this sort of thought:

  • -All men are rapists, just as all Jews are satanist.
  • -All of societies problems are caused by men, as the Jews were to blame for germany's woes.
  • -Men secretly cavort and conspire to keep everyone else down, as the Jews cavorted to control money.

Society know that the stereotypes and slurs against Jewish people are wrong, so why are we doing it to men?

Seems to me the only thing that will turn it around is a backlash resulting concerted violent pogrom against men.

I dunno. Perhaps this is just idle speculation.
