I've been against circumcision for a long time. For all the regular reasons, it decreases sensitivity, it makes condoms less comfortable, it doesn't provide any medical benefit, doctors generally agree it provides no medical benefit, and I think it is wrong to do anything to a person without their consent especially if it causes them a great deal of pain.

I've known it is a painful procedure, but I had never seen it actually done until they showed it in that documentary The Red Pill. That short clip should be enough to make everyone against circumcision. It most definitely is genital mutilation, and from what I saw I am pretty close to just calling it plain torture. It is so awful to put a young baby boy through that much pain.

I've been upset that I was circumcised since I learnt more about the issue, but I've never felt this bad about it. I can't believe that my parents would put me through that. I actually had to call my dad to ask him if he had ever seen it done, he told me he couldn't remember if he had even watched mine so I assume that he has never seen it, because I don't think that is something you can forget. How do you come to terms with this? I feel violated. In my eyes this is on the same level as like a woman being passed out drunk, not remembering being raped, but seeing video of it years later. How could someone do that?
