The problem is what happened 20 years ago that prevented these allegations from being followed up on them?

Was there pressure from police or the public relations of Scientology to keep her from testifying?

Was the case dropped by police?

It's one thing if it's somebody coming out of the woodwork years later for a payoff. It's another thing if Justice was impeded with.

No statue of limitations on sex crimes, so many men who become wealthy are then accused as a way to get money, slander, and other items. Courts usually want to convict automatically as well..

You can look, don't touch, don't gawk, don't talk to them either...

It's extremely important to take the Church of Scientology into consideration. It's incredibly believable that the Church played a hand in suppressing the allegations for so long. Same thing with the Catholic Church. They've had their hands in a lot of cover-ups, especially when it comes to cases like this.

This post is blowing my mind. Should the boys abused by the Catholic Church not be allowed to testify or bring up charges if it was almost 20 years ago?
