Dear fellow MRAs, The subject of masculinity and men’s rights is very important to me. Many men and masculinity in general are in a problem today. We fail more and more in education, we are more in jail, our position at the family is considered expendable, we are more homeless, we are treated more harshly at the courts, not getting appropriate medical care yielding a shorter lifespan, our sexuality is demonized and face various other problems.

However, how is "Woman Arrested After Allegedly Spraying Deputies With Breast Milk" and "Mom kills her kid due to her own negligence. Uses it for her own personal gain." related to men's rights? How disrespect and even outright hate against women help men in the many challenges they face within modern society?

This behavior undermines these important goals and alienates many possible supporters, and specifically the support of women (which are definitely a significant part of the movement). I understand that many have issues with women, it is understandable, relationships and love can really hurt and leave you bitter.

However, MRM should be about raising awareness to discrimination against men and to the challenges men and masculinity face in these rapidly changing times. Not about anger against women or to “put down” women. Frankly, I think the majority of women are just awesome, definitely my wife and my mother.

So I thus declare:

I AM AN MRA AND I ALSO FUCKING LOVE AND RESPECT WOMEN.

The main issue eliminating support for our movement is its association with hate and disrespect to women. If we are able to have many such positive comments we will show the true and positive influence of the MRM and thus reduce the negative stereotyping of this important movement.

This is one of the most powerful ways to support men’s rights.
