Now that I'm home, I'll respond to this.

First of all, I don't hate anyone. It's a tenant of my life to love. I do not, however, have to appreciate all points of view, particularly if I find them derogatory and demeaning to a free society.

I'm not anti-feminist. I'm anti-supremacist.

True feminism was a struggle for equal rights, not special rights. In other words, it was [initially] a struggle for the natural rights that all people are born with, but had simply been denied to those people by government.

The latter is the current format, en masse. There are undoubtedly those still fighting the proper, good fight. Unfortunately, the intellectual power and sway still stands with those of the second mindset. Like things beget like things. There's never a reason for new generations to correct an err in thought if it's never pointed out to them as wrong. The ideology permeates all peoples now, not just women and subcultures, but the entire society. It is reflected in laws and rhetoric, as well as action.

I'm not anti-fair debate. I'm opposed to anti-intellectualism and the refusal of reason and logic. Group-think is only justified if it is vetted. [e.g. there's an asshole shooting at everyone, he's killing people, FUCKING KILL HIM]

The quote you quote was intended to say "this arm of feminism". I was on my phone and I guess my spellcheck nabbed it. In that light, I refer you to my former paragraph about the differences in natural rights as opposed to special rights.

The current wing of feminists which are entrenched in the places of authority, whether it be academia or journalism or politics, DO need a boogieman. It's how they maintain their power base. It's no different from anyone else who gains power -- they know that fear is the powerful's greatest asset. Instill fear, focus on outside enemy (real or imagined), consolidate masses into one ideological point of view. After that, it's quite simple to convince them all that ANY criticism at all from any outside source [regardless of their animosity or lack thereof toward that protected ideology] is a direct, vicious and violent attack upon them as individuals.

It's ingenious and vile.

If anyone is using a strawman attack, friend, it's you. I made my points quite concise and quite clear. My arguments were well discussed and processed.

Saying what I said about a boogieman in no way invalidates my ideological opposition to the current kind of feminism. Just because you say something does not make it gospel.

I have an ideological, principled ideal which I follow. Instead of bringing ad-hominem attacks which were shallowly constructed, maybe you should perceive the discussion from the point of view I'm coming from.

There was yet another, reasoned, well thought out comment. Maybe here it won't get downvoted.
