In some cases, taking an issue that primarily affects men and framing it as a women's issue can be the only way to get people to acknowledge that there is a problem.

Pointing out how the Duluth Model and derivatives deny abusive women the help they need to learn how not to escalate interpersonal conflict to physical confrontation and give them a chance to escape the cycle of violence before a partner kills them has given a few feminist bigots brainlock. That the sources to back this up show that the majority of victims of domestic abuse are men (and the majority of abusers are women) is something you don't even have to explicitly point out.

Because women are considered weak, in need of protection, and incapable of being criminals to the same level men are- they end up getting smaller sentences. Feminism is very much against that.

"Feminism is very much against" that is the only "support" you're ever gonna get from them. Trust me, it's all lip service so they can convince themselves that their fulfilling the feminists role of "equality for everyone" and then go back to shilling for women in parliament or something like that the next day. "Feminism is very much against that" is such bullshit it might as well not even be said at all. Same thing in my country where there's mandatory male conscription. "I am very much against that teehee :P" she says, while she carries on with her life without being called upon by the military.

That is really well written. I definitely think that there is value in looking at sexism against women in terms of the way it can effect mens issues. The fact that feminism fails to look at sexism against men is one of the major reasons it gets so much wrong.
