I am absolutely delighted to write this post,In my last I post I was asking for tips for a feminist organized group debate in my school sponsored by UN women(check my last post for details)

The debate went mostly without a hitch except for mild heckling from the pro-fem side. It was a fruitful conversation as I see it,Since we managed to convince one person to switch sides mid debate and make them concede some points while still raising men's issues (namely,prostate cancer research,violence and psychological variation in men and women and disproving the wage gap and equity arguement)

Our side was praised for the well researched data (by the opposition and the judge and I managed to get commendation certificate)

And I heard from the organizers that the judge personally was very impressed by my research(4hours of prep didn't go to waste atleast)

I know this is small victory but I would like to thank all of you for helping directly by giving tips and indirectly by many other ways

PS:The judge was built up to be very strict in terms of argumentative validity,which makes me extra happy to have achieved this.
