Recently, my girlfriend used this term "vanilla dicking" to refer to things that white men do. When I confronted her about how it offends me when she uses this word, she decided that I shouldnt be offended because the word has no historical significance. When bringing up examples such as the word "retard," which has only been used since 1980 to mean "idiot," she shrugged off the case. How do I explain myself?
