Not misogyny: "In general, women lag five IQ points behind men, are more likely to be hypergamous, and through their tendency for indirect action are often perceived as manipulative."

Not misogyny, but unless it's a riposte to a claim to the contrary I can't see how bringing up claims* like those is ever productive.

*Not meaning to imply they're false, but with no citation I certainly wouldn't imply they're true either - mark me down as 'no comment'.

See, this is one thing Plato got right. At the beginning of his dialogues, he would always define the terms going to be discussed and then require that everyone else stick to the same definition. If a new term of significance was introduced, a concrete definition was always required right then and there. This is something we should all be sticking to as radicals of all stripes tend to modify the definitions of words without changing their connotations.

For example, "Misogyny" is frequently modified to mean "criticizing something a woman does," while the connotation that the word is only applied to "bigoted assholes" is left in place. The same thing is happening culturally with the definition of rape.

Words have meanings and they can't be changed on the fly just to include you in "Negative Subset 4: Racists" unless you allow it. Call bullshit when it happens. If you have a smartphone, take the thirty seconds to put a dictionary on it. If somebody says "you're just arguing semantics" to try to shut you up, tell them why it's important.

tl;dr: Don't let people broaden the definition of a slur just to encompass you as a silencing tactic.

If someone ever labels you a misogynist, your best bet is to calmly ask them to clarify what it is that makes you a misogynist. If you're a true MRA, you won't be misogynist, and thus whatever explanation they try to give will be hollow at best.

At that point, proceed to politely pick apart their arguments until they have nothing left but an empty term.

It's sometimes important to play using their weapons, so they don't get to dictate things like this.
