Men had the chance of being conscripted into war but women had the chance of being conscripted into childbirth, since marital rape was legal & contraception and abortion was illegal.
Thus it was fair that women got the right to vote.

Childbirth is not a service to your country, unless you are birthing the baby to give to the government. The point of conscription being a part of citizenship is that you provide a service for the protection of the government, therefore earning the right to protection from said government (as well as a say in how it's run). Childbirth, which is a personal service that you do for yourself, would then be only on par with say a man protecting his family from an invader. It's a good thing, but it's personal- conscription means giving the government control over a service you are providing (and which benefits everyone in the country, not just yourself). The man gets to choose whether he protects his family or not (and which invader is worth going after); as a soldier, he must rely on the government to decide for him which threat to send him after, how to fight it, the level of danger he should put himself into. This would only be comparable to the government ordering a woman get pregnant at a time it chooses, decides which of her pregnancies to continue, and then taking the child to raise in a special government program or perhaps she raises the child under a specific government controlled regimen.
You don't get the right to vote because you have a chance of dying from something. If so, the amount of things men are expected to do with an increased chance of dying would far outnumber women's.
Beyond that, since marital rape is now illegal and contraception and abortion are legal, would that not mean from your argument that women cannot be conscripted into pregnancy and therefore it is no longer fair for them to have the right to vote?
*contraception was never illegal, condoms were always legal (although feminists at the time tried to make them so), and the pill took a long time to come about. Before then there were always many other forms of contraception such as inserting something into the vagina to block the sperm, not very effective, but people have always tried to use them and the government had no interest in stopping them.
** For most of history early term abortion (before you can feel movement) was legal because people did not believe the fetus was alive before it began moving around.

Regardless, even if contraception and abortion were illegal, contraception was almost never very effective, & abortion was typically very dangerous (same with childbirth)
