I have been thinking a lot about how it bothers me to identify as a men's rights advocate and not as an egalitarian. I do believe that it is my duty as a human being to disable discrimination whenever there is a need to do so. I think that feminists served a purpose at one time to help women who could not vote, procure employment, or serve in the military. As for today, I do not believe they serve a purpose. With lack of purpose, they have created imaginary wars. I am afraid that once the men's rights movement has overcome the issues facing men today, they too will go the route of the feminists fighting imaginary fights. I will stand for men's rights until I feel that men are not discriminated against. Until that time I will continue to call my self a men's rights advocate. So my question for all of you is this; what are the quantitative inequalities facing men today? What can be done to eliminate them? Lastly, when will we know we are done?

I hope this is not taken as offensive in any way. I do not mean to compare men's rights to feminism. I hope that this post is succinct and substantive. Thank you.
