Aside from never being alone with a women, there basically isn't anyway to protect yourself. And once accused you're forever guilty in the eyes of the public.

A man's life can be destroyed based on the feelings of a woman. She doesn't need evidence or fact or truth, just a bad feeling about having sex with someone, and a life is ruined.

That, or she just wants to be vindictive.

because if false rape claims go unchecked it gives women the power to jail any man anytime for any reason they wish.

That they happen, and have been proven to happen, proves two important things.

They can and probably will happen again.
Those who have the most to gain from the "rape and abuse" industry ignore facts and lie in order to further their own self interest. They did this in the past while denying that there was no such thing as a false accusation. Just those who were convicted and those who "got away".

This sentiment is reflected in western culture today. It's great that our society abhors rapists, the problem is that the organism that profits from that desires no differentiation between rapists and those accused of rape.

This lack of distinction is also proof that the "rape and abuse" industry doesn't care about women. They do not care about accurate accounting or finding out who really needs help. They care about sensationalist headlines and knee-jerk publicity as it lends pop-culturish sound bite support to their cause, all in the name of women and driven by fear. The same industry does not care about male rape. It's a hindrance to it's global message that men are human too. It paints their presumed perpetrators as more than faceless heavy breathing monsters in the night.

They are careful to separate children from men, young boys are "children who were raped by a man". Once a young boy hits puberty the switch flips.

Female statutory rapists are seen in a more positive "hot for teacher" light than male statutory rapists. This can be found in CASE LAW.

Two equally underage teens have sex and get in trouble. It is the boy who is the statutory rapist.

A grown women initiates, continues, or otherwise does not prevent sex with an underage boy, it becomes a joke or even fantasy worth writing about.

The asymmetry of justice is perpetuated and even cultivated by those who profit the most from such a state.

In rape there is no such thing as due process. The rights of the accuser exceed the rights of the accused. Rules of anonymity are not shared, rules of prior behavior are not shared. It's a rigged system that when even attempted to be fixed so it is more in line with justice is fought against by the very people who say they are for equality. The messages keep coming out of only one side of their mouths.

Sensitive issue?

Our human nature loves for us to blame the other guy for our problem, our mistakes, it's an internal defense mechanism that nature has provided to keep us going in life. There are more constructive ways to deal with mistakes and regret, but this is just in our nature.

Everyone on the planet has felt some form of regret at one time or another, but with rape, regret is often confused with "proof" that "he raped me". And with rape, all that is required to bring a case into the public eye is one person's word against another. That system where just one person's word against another is stacked against one particular demographic.

My issue with rape isn't the crime itself. It should be punished every single time in a way determined and voted on by society. My issue with rape is the industry and ideology that has been built up around it like a great fort of preservation. Where any counter-view is vilified as being an apologist or misogynist. These cultivated attitudes just create more rifts between the sexes and care for neither one. The organism only cares that there are perpetrators and victims, everything else is secondary.

Again, I have to cite the point that Catherine Comins was making in the Time Magazine interview in 2001. She was stating that many women view false rape claims as a means for women to regain some measure of power back from men.

This is an issue and a reason for this to be brought up in this context.

Because accused rapists are perceived as "guilty until proven innocent" in the eyes of society, law enforcement, and the courts. And even after they're proven innocent, they're still perceived as guilty by society.

Well, for me personally there are two reasons.

One, A guy I knew in HS was caught with his gf having sex on school grounds...they were both promise keepers and she was from a highly religious family....she ddn't want to get into trouble with daddy so she said her bf forced her. He was arrested and interrogated for over 12 hours(even by the principle, wtf, the same one who later had to change schools for getting caught with the secretary) and was told he was going to prison and even told he would be raped in prison.

After a few days she admitted she was scared and didn't want to get into trouble and then there was a big fight with the parents still wanting to press charges because they were pissed and he was just over the legal cut off difference(in my state it's a two year difference and he was over it by a month or so) but cooler heads prevailed and the charges were dropped. She and his family went to his house to tell him and they found him hanging in the closet with a bag over his head. He was 17 and she was never charged with anything.

second. In my personal life I have dealt with two false allegations of rape. The first happened when I was 18 and I was at a midnight bowling arena at about 2 am and hit on a girl only to end up talking to her fat friend. I even took her across the street to meet her mom and then took her home. Nothng happened, even though she tried and even told me she was 18, and when I got home I found her mom on the phone with mine. It turned out she was 13 and claimed I assaulted her. Nothing came of it. No charges were pressed but it was a wake up call to say the least.

Then I started dating my HS crush and we dated for several years. At the beginning of year two she slept with a friend of mine and claimed he raped her....I believed her and actually plotted out this guys murder, had the gun and everything....her story fell apart though, especially after she did it again and again.

I am in my 20s today and haven't dated a girl since I was 23 because I realized it was bullshit and if I want sex I can get it...but it's still fucking risky as hell.

There is a lot of talk about the actual percentage of FRAs but that only would count the first example because the police were involved.

It wouldn't count the time at 19 that I was working with these two cool black guys and a fat white bitch claimed one of them assaulted her....I was there, we were standing infront of the doors to the back room waiting a few minutes to clock out so we could get a full 40 hrs on our checks(we didn't take breaks cause we were more interested in getting off early to party) and she burst through the door almost hitting the guy in the face with it. He said 'hey' and she did a about face and walked(ran) down the isle. We laughed about it and the next day he was fired because it was cheaper than involving the law.

I am not even 30 yet and these have happened since I was 18 and I am incredibly cautious around women and have often been told I was shy or introverted cause I am a bit of a outcast....

Outside of my personal experiences and observations it is a matter of rights. Why should women have the ability to leverage the police state against a man in a game of "let's you and him fight."???

Women create the police state. Women are the tool the state uses against men.
