I keep noticing how relationship toxicity toward men is treated as normal or even funny, and it’s honestly disturbing. I constantly see jokes about “the wife is always right,” where the punchline is a pan being thrown at the husband or a man saying he’s been married seven years but only two were happy.

People laugh like it’s harmless. I’ve also seen clips where a man gets slapped or punched for looking at another woman, and it’s framed as deserved. On top of that, there are “cute” videos where a woman goes through her partner’s phone, tracks his location, or demands his passwords, and it’s portrayed as caring instead of controlling.

I see posts where a woman screams at or humiliates her boyfriend in public, and the comments tell him to man up. I even see men being pressured into sex or shamed for saying no, there was this guy who was signalling no no no with his hand and the woman walks up seductively and pulls him under bed and they do the deed the guy is shown to be distressed and the women smiling seriously?

yet it’s brushed off because men are “supposed to want it.” If any of this were done to women, it would be called abuse without hesitation. When it happens to men, it’s entertainment. That double standard sends a clear message: men aren’t allowed to be victims, and harm against them doesn’t count. That isn’t equality. It’s normalized abuse dressed up as humor.
