People typically vote based on foreign policy and economic policy concerns. These are often independent of gender issues.

On top of that, many would argue that the republicans are more traditionalist, which isn't actually pro-men's rights. It just isn't pro-feminism. Bush wasn't any better on men's rights issues, as far as I can remember.

Traditionalism is still pro-gynocentrism, so I will never vote Republican ever again. I will only vote Libertarian.

All that the affirmative consent movement wants is changing the definition of rape to "performing sexual acts without establishing consent" (which is what rape is). This will make it possible for people to be convicted, regardless of the extent to which the victim was resisting, which should never have been a factor to begin with. Moreover, this standard will be applied to both men and women, so victims of all genders will benefit from this.

By saying that this is something that hurts men, you are basically implying that men are more likely to rape.
