I mean, anecdotal evidence is still evidence. I don’t entirely know how a study could ever be done about that because it would all completely rely on anecdotal evidence and anyone on the opposing side would immediately say that doesn’t count anyway. Not every woman has that experience but I know quite a few with a similar experience or at the very least a valid fear of that happened. Maybe talking to some of the women in your life if they would feel comfortable saying no to a stranger that can physically overpower them in seconds might be interesting to do.

Hey it’s me a real living woman. When discussing violence against women, the voice of victims is generally more important yes. You actually seem super offended which is kind of funny given all I told you was a personal experience and told you to talk to women you knew. I don’t see anywhere that I said there was thousands of studies proving you wrong, just simply trying to voice the opinion of a woman who literally has experienced what you are arguing. Your source was an informational handout from a police station? Doesn’t look like much of a study to me. Things seem great in theory. I also clearly addressed that anecdotal evidence is very week evidence hence I said it will be dismissed easily. My point literally still stands, that anecdotal evidence is still evidence though. Reading is important my friend!
Sorry you are so offended by a woman telling you their experience and giving a reasonable explanation as to why some women don’t always come right out with saying no bluntly. But don’t worry, nothing I say will change your opinion and nothing you say will change mine. Hope you have a wonderful evening :)

Some Highlighted Quotes from Causes and Consequences of Violence Against Women." National Research Council. 1996. Understanding Violence Against Women. Washington, DC: The National Academies Press. doi: 10.17226/5127
"Power and control frequently underlie intimate partner violence, but the purpose of the violence may also be in response to a man's feelings of powerlessness and inability to accept rejection (Browne and Dutton, 1990)."
"It is theorized that males who have difficulty obtaining partners are more likely to resort to sexual coercion or rape."
"Sexually aggressive men are said to differ from other men in antisocial tendencies (Malamuth, 1986), nonconformity (Rapaport and Burkhart, 1984), impulsivity (Calhoun, 1990), and hypermasculinity (Mosher and Anderson, 1986). Batterers have been found to show lower socialization and responsibility (Barnett and Hamberger, 1992)."
"Sexually aggressive men more strongly endorse a set of attitudes that are supportive of rape than do nonaggressive men, including myths about rape and the use of interpersonal violence as a strategy for resolving conflict (e.g., Malamuth, 1986; Malamuth et al., 1991, 1995). Beliefs and myths about rape may serve as rationalizations for those who commit violent acts. "

I never said sexual assault against men never happens. Classic whataboutism. I would like a little more proof other that these are all "false" studies other than just taking your word for it. The question is does rejection from a woman cause men to act out violently. The quote I provided suggests so. I could link to many other articles showing individual cases, if you would like. In the mean time here is another quote from different studies from a government website "Rejection has also been used to explain some acts of partner physical violence (Brown, 2012) and sexual aggression (Bushman, Bonacci, van Dijk, & Baumeister, 2003; Scully & Marolla, 1985). In the context of sexual aggression, a woman's sexual refusal may incite an aggressive reaction from the perpetrator, as the refusal obstructs his goal of obtaining the sexual gratification he anticipated or because it threatens his self-image (Baumeister, Catanese, & Wallace, 2002)."
