I guess this is a post asking for help, and I’m only asking here because I think a lot of people here have a similar thinking pattern to me.

Basically, I would say that I like to see patterns in things that aren’t really there, and I always wanted to find the answers to things. Couple this tendency with low self esteem and you have me browsing forums related to gender discourse in order to get to the heart of the matters.

It seems like the joys of life have been spoiled for me, at least related to romance. I now have this aspergian view of the world only fueled by “pills”.

But here is the crazy part. Whenever I go out and try, none of what is said online here matches up with my experiences in real life. Like if you read pill spaces then you are convinced that balding is the worst thing that can happen to a man. Well, l went bald in my early twenties and I have a shaved head now. I thought when I hit the dating scene, I was going to be a leper, like women would recoil and run away from me, but that never happens. I managed to find dates on dating apps, but once I do get out and about on a date, I have a tendency to be assaulted by thoughts brought by these spaces, and it ruins the whole experience for me. Like I get so insecure, I self sabotage. I don’t ask for a second date or ghost.

I think I need therapy, but I gotta get out of these pill spaces, there is no answer, I have just been fooled by randomness(reading Taleb was therapeutic for me). I think people here have a tendency to see patterns here when there are no patterns, and you aren’t punished in school for seeing a wrong pattern, so the mentality is reinforced.
