The more I break down the common complaints of dating currently what strikes me is that only a portion of those issues is based in gender.

Most of it is based on people who struggle to cut a relationship when it no longer suits them and instead of looking inward hatred is projected outward.

For example: red pill. The argument seen most of the time is “ all or most women are like this, they care only about what they gain and the 6 figure, 6 foot, 6 pack man and eventually they cheat when they don’t get those things”

Then you have women saying all men want is sex and will use the woman for emotional labor and then leave for a younger woman or something.

But what is this based on? Cause obviously we see women and men in happy relationships where these rules don’t apply. A fat man dating a decent looking woman due to the history they have rather than a 6 pack, a man staying with his wife while she’s unable to have sex due to cancer or child birth.

When you talk to these people about maybe being more strict with who they date and say “well don’t put up with that” these people dismiss it with “yeah well they are all like that” yet these people have barely tried to date outside their comfort zone to see.

TLDR: most dating issues comes more from people’s unwillingness to advocate for their own standards and project hate outwards instead of looking inward.
