Question for RPers - When you see "abusive relationship" do you assume alpha fucks? Does that affect if you have sympathy for the woman being abused

3 of the 4 abusive relationships I've seen were women abusing men. Both verbally, emotionally, and physically. That last relationship they both were both abusive towards each other, but the guy was kind of frail and had a bunch of medical problems.

If the woman was acting freely and out of her own volition (i.e. no arranged marriage or stuff like that), she has some responsibility for her own well-being. I will empathize with and support her if she's a friend of mine; but considering that female relationship problems usually get the treatment that she's the victims of circumstances beyond her influence - which led to me worrying a bit too much about how bad women have it and how all their misfortunes are some act of God they had no part in, and how easily their lives get of the rails. By now I am out of shits to give - if a woman enters an abusive relationship out of free will, has non-abusive options within reach but still refuses to leave, it's on her.

I don't see why I need to include abusive relationships under the AFBB pareto principle. I assume it's outlier data.

Abuse is about controlling the other person. TRP is about (among other things) controlling yourself, and refusing to abdicate your self-control to another person for sex.

That's why TRP is all about "passing shit tests" (not letting your emotions be negatively affected) and "pressing" (putting your health and well being as the highest priority).

There is no overlap between TRP/AF and abusers.

My personal experience: 90% of women have been in an "abusive" relationship.

The reality is that women mentally destroy any good characteristics about their past partners in an attempt to move on. It's a combination of playing the victim card for sympathy points and re-fabricating her past to preserve her ego. Why would she have been with a low-life loser? The only way she can rationalize that without being self-deprecating is to convince herself he was abusive.

If you're talking physical abuse, that's not an alpha behaviour. It doesn't lead to further sexual success.

I've met some in the past, in a lot of ways they remind me of an addict - products of their environment. I'd say I have less empathy for them, because ultimately I feel as though they accept the lows of the relationship for the highs it offers.

Well, we have to make sure that its a woman defining the the relationship is actually abusive though. Lets be dead clear on this. If so, then no its not aFBB

I have seen BP men categorize any relationship where a woman is submissive as abusive, which simply is not true and a poor misjudgment.

Do I assume a woman overlooking a man's obvious flaws due to sexual attraction?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. There are factors that will change my thoughts of what is probably going on.

Alphas are pack leaders and while I won't give you a lecture on the idealized alpha, I would remind everyone that in TRP alphas tend to be described as both traits and leaders of pack.

For the latter definition, this idea of only alpha men abusing womyn is false...... men do not need to be a pack leader to beat women, they just need to be stronger than them. And frankly that's an extremely low bar for even the most weak man.

It also seems to me curious that woman anecdotally seem to be abused when they are in their 20's rather than their 30's and older.

Morbid thought: What if there's more abused women in their 20's because they don't make it to their 30's. Dun dun Duuuuuuuun!

Lots of women also lie and exaggerate their abuse and threaten to tell the police if her man doesn't stay with her.

To me it's hard to imagine a woman being physically abused by a submissive man who respects and appreciates woman though that's just an assumption which I could be wrong about.

I'm surprised no blue piller has linked /r/niceguys yet. That sub is full of the same people RP calls white knights, both sides hate those fuckers. They act nice and let themselves be doormats if they think they can get some pussy out of it but get aggressive quick if they don't.

They definitely exhibit a lot of beta behaviour and that aggression has the potential to lead to abuse.
