He's just enjoyable to be around, I guess?

If I'm in a social situation where there are numerous men to talk to - he's the one that engages me enough so I stick around in his company. So he's funny, he has interesting stories and we can shoot the shit about what ever.

Basically if a guy can do that whilst being sexually attractive to me - then things will escalate and sex happens.

Mind that my experience is pretty narrow as I base it only on my husband's successful attempt and on other guys' unsuccessful ones.

I think there were several points that helped him:

He seemed to be genuinely interested in me and not in a possibility to have sex, even though he was generous with compliments. He abstained from any sexual or sex related talks for first 5-6 dates.
He is a good listener and a story-teller. He also knows a city where we live far better than I do and did, so he spent his time on showing me around.
He didn't wait for too long and he was quite straightforward. He asked me on a date after a few day when we first met and it was a date and not just "don't wanna hang out" or something.

Other guys were either too eager to get sex and it was clear without actual dating or they were too insecure and never properly asked me out. We don't count creeps, who had really weird ideas about hitting on.

In my experience the key component is Frame. I'm going to be honest if you are going through unhelpful and low confidence thinking while you run game... you are not maintaining frame well.

I'm never interested in whether she has heard what I'm saying before. I am working her and looking for non verbal cues that show how she is responding to particular approaches. Once I have a good idea of how to proceed then I can start pushing for what I want within the context of the situation. This approach works super well.

Imo, a guy with good game knows how to communicate with women well and highlight his positive traits. He's interesting as a person and interesting to talk to. He's also confident in himself. The type of confidence that shows that he's comfortable with who he is. Personally, I really like it when a guy remembers shit I say that I like and uses it to make me happy. I offhandedly mentioned to my partner I wish I had a japanese english dictionary for language practice and I'm sad that Amazon shipping times and insanely long. Next time I saw a few days later he gave me one that he found in his room. It was pretty nice because I wasn't even asking him to help. He just did it because he wanted to.

Seduction when it's done right is like having sweets. It tastes pretty good and gives you a bit of a rush. Seduction when done wrong feels like I'm about to fucking project to the astral plane because of how creepy it can be.

The "meh/ugly player" is literally just treating women like people and genuinely wants to connect with a girl at a personal level. He actually wants to know about who she is and what she does and what shes interested in. He uses the information that she told him to swoon her. He's confident in himself. Women know when a man isn't confident and that's the most unattractive thing. It's not some sort of trade secret or anything. It's really that simple.
