Who comes up with these agreements. She should not benefit from the story in perpetuity. 10 years is nothing.

If I were the judge I’d come up with some unique punishment. Such as having his life size profile picture in her residence for 10 years or having the same BS texted to her during probation.

OK being mean to someone isnt killing them, right? What she did is heinous, and she should be going to prison, but like.....I don't know. Maybe manslaughter is the only way our system knows how to capture it

Mothers and Fathers, teach your boys/children that someone else does not define them. They do not NEED someone to justify their existence. Their life is precious and time heals all wounds. I could not imagine losing my son because of the heartless attention seeking words of someone else, someone who wouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things. That woman needs to be jailed and My heart is broken for his family.

While there's definitely an ethical issue with her behavior, she didn't kill him. He obviously had some problems if he was tolerating it for so long. Clearly, he was weak willed, or browbeat to the point of being weak willed enough to off himself. Suicide is usually an act of anger and cowardice, brought about by frustration and fear of confrontation, or fear of difficult outcomes. She was very abusive towards him and the fact that society frequently encourages this sort of psychopathic behavior from women is something difficult for a lot of men to bear. Female psychopaths can be really scary, because it can feel like a man has nowhere to turn to where he'll be believed.

Again... Attacking the source is pretty cheap, false adhominem or not, and it's clearly similar in verbal nature. It's possible I have more empathy than you are capable of understanding.

You are very quick to cut down anything negative I might say as if there's no possibility of a kernel of truth to it, but you'll absolutely believe me when I call myself an asshole. Why wouldn't that also be false? How can you take so much for granted? What would give you the right to pass moral judgement on others? I was talking about a news story. He wasn't entirely without free will, and she was wrong in emotionally abusing. It's not murder. For all I know, he killed himself because he didn't like an orange yelling at him.

Life is full of tough lessons. Parents beat kids, hundreds of thousands people died before their time, terrorists blew up the twin towers, the climate will change to something humans can't survive. It's a jungle out there. Look out your window. They're coming for you. Aren't they?

God doesn't answer your prayers, random chance makes people losers sometimes. Being good doesn't always mean you will succeed. Taking the the high ground isn't about personal character assassination. And the list goes on and on.

Every once in a while I pick one of these dialogues to do my experiment. I have proven that if I have any free thought or opinion that might have a possible negative connotation it usually results in character assassination regardless of it's truth, or possible truth.
