Full text: I have a special friend (HNWI) coming from abroad to see me for valentine's days which coincidence with my birthday week 👸🎂.

I was wondering what gift should I hint that I want ? I'm not into expensive bags as I buy them high tier rep. Phone, laptop I have both brand new. What other high value item can I ask for ?

Jewelry is a great option - holds its value, and has high liquidity if you ever want/need to resell it. I wouldn’t ask for brand name like Tiffany (it has a faster depreciation, and you are paying for the brand not the material value), I would ask for something that has true scarcity and value.

A strand of south sea or Tahitian pearls would be in that range! As would a diamond tennis bracelet, or a gem-y station necklace.
