Kindness and good manners increases value. Also having a cheerful disposition. Most people are openly grumpy/complain all the time and it's a breath of fresh air when someone's baseline attitude is cheerful and optimistic.

Someone who has a book in their hand more often than their phone will be perceived as smarter and therefore higher value.

Be someone who does things on the weekends (or does something fun at least once a month!). It's my philosophy that we should always have something fun to look forward to. It can be a picnic in the park, a hike, sports game, or checking out the new restaurant in town. My husband said he kept dating one of his exes that he actually despised because her family was so cool and always had something fun each month. So he stayed with her for an extra summer because he wanted a group to go white water rafting and cliff jumping with 😂

Working hard and not gossiping while at work. If I need to vent about a coworker I will vent to my mother or to my dog lol. I have not and will not ever be dragged in to workplace drama. If someone vents to me I will usually say nothing or maybe make some sympathy noises, but sometimes I will defend the person they are trashing. Gossip is incredibly unprofessional and someone who always has something rude to say about the people around them has lowered value, at least in my eyes.

Personal responsibility, emotional maturity, and being fun.

We want partners who are going to be responsible and make good decisions or at the very least, someone who learns from their mistakes. We should hold ourselves to the same standards, and it will go a long way not just in the romantic sphere but in life overall towards encouraging people to respect you. You cannot build any kind of positive, meaningful relationship without mutual respect.
Emotional maturity such that you can handle life's ups and downs in stride, you know how to listen to others, and you know how to understand and control your emotions. An emotionally mature person thinks about situations from all perspectives before reaching a conclusion, and they understand that not only is life not always about them, but more often than not other people are not behaving maliciously when they do something that is unappreciated.
Fun for me means being true to yourself and honest about what you enjoy. If you love skateboarding or video games or other less commonly "feminine" hobbies embrace them! People will find you much more interesting and fun if you display passion and enthusiasm about what you like, rather than just try to fit a predetermined mold about how you think you should be. Plus do you really want to live the rest of your life out pretending you don't like your favorite hobbies just because you're too insecure to be yourself around a potential partner?

my wife could turn a wrench, change tires, spark plugs, brakes, oil. She was quite feminine, IIRC she only had 3-5 pairs of pants, 2 were jeans.

She was essentially a Stepford wife with a career and independent/capable in her own right. She didn't need me, she wanted me and that's what made her attractive to me more than anyone else I was seeing/talking/hooking up/dating.

There are already great suggestions on this list, but I’m going to add in to give your time and resources generously to causes that will make a difference. I’m not talking about being a SJW, but volunteering your time at a soup kitchen, to tutor others, or to help someone in an even bigger way adds a ton of value. When you are looking for a man or high character, examine your own and see how you can improve it in terms of pouring out to others.

To lay down one’s life for something else, a worthy cause, a friend in need, really says something about your integrity and depth of character. A good man will recognize this. You may even meet some men who are also giving of themselves as they volunteer their time! Femininity starts in the heart.

Having a marketable skills...it’s 2020 not 1930. Low dick count. Cooking and baking skills. Cleanliness. Mental and emotional stability. Polished social and conversational skills. Varied interests and hobbies.

A few ideas off the top of my male head:

Kindness to others around you, especially waiters and people who you both interact with. If you're rude to others, you'll be rude to "me" eventually
Sharing bills for food or taking turns buying/contributing, showing extra appreciation when he does make an effort to pay, put in time, organize a date or event.
Minimizing phone time while you're around each other.
Learning, sharing what you've learnt, and showing that you're growing and developing yourself.
Don't nag, criticize, complain about him and keep it minimal when doing so about other people. It's OK to have problems, just go about it in a mature, constructive manner.
Recognize or affirm that his feelings or opinions are valid or worthwhile. Validation, spoon feed it to us...

Us guys should be working on all of these as well, not taking sides.

Be relatively knowledgeable about what’s going on in the world. You don’t have to know everything, but enough to ask good questions. HVM are intelligent, and you want to be able to contribute to a conversation otherwise it likely won’t last. Having things to talk about by reading books or listening to audiobooks or podcasts helps too.

Keeping yourself well-groomed is important as well! Not just fit, but putting effort into how you present yourself can make a big difference.

Also - kindness, warmth, compassion, friendliness, and optimism are all attractive traits in a woman. I believe if you put good energy out in the world, you are more likely to get it back, and so by being good to others, people are more likely to be good to you (of course, as long as you maintain boundaries so as to not get taken advantage of).

We went to a Christmas party and a lot of adults were talking, some looking on their phone, few were standing in the background. I noticed my gf had five children surrounded he ranging from five to ten years old. This boosted her value. Soon the children went to the bedroom to play. My gf and I later looked in their room and gf said, I am so glad her kids aren't the only ones who have a messy bedroom.
