Just an observation: in this Forum many seem to have a very difficult relationship with their mother while praising their father. Although I know criticizing men is a no here it seems like a very stark contrast. Therefore: I propose a mother-appreciation post!

I go first: my mother is a cancer survivor, badass aunt to my cousin who calls her for any baby related question and the best mother I could have ever wished for! It was her who went to battle with my school when they only expected mediocre students, it was her who time and time again showed me how awesome I can become while always expecting 100%.
