So I have been wandering why the word submission is still in use in terms of Trad relationships.

Every time I hear, a trad women describe submission, she is essentially describing partnership and a relationship of equals where the man has no authority over her.

In the Google’s definition of the word submission it says “ the action or fact of accepting or yielding to a superior force or to the will or authority of another person.”

No woman subscribes to the above definition even the traditional woman.

The only difference between a woman seeking an equal relationship and a woman seeking a traditional relationship is that, the latter is willing to claim to be submissive but in reality she just seeks a partnership just like the former woman who doesn’t want a traditional relationship.

Am I correct to say, submission in this day and age is misleading and that it has become a synonym for partnership?
