If your businesses are doing very well, a virtual assistant may be needed for the sake of your marriage. I don’t think there’s a way to balance the two realms reasonably without help, and at the end of the day, I think marriage is more important in the longterm. You don’t want to neglect a life partner for a season of said life to the point where you may lose them.

Consider hiring help and setting strict working hours for yourself. Schedule time with your husband as you would schedule time for your work.

What I do is basically schedule family time and hubby time. And most importantly, that time is sacred, no work allowed. On the other hand, it doesnt need to be several hours, it can also be just hug and kiss and have a talk for a few minutes. Little moments can be very impactful. And as always, communication is key. Always talk to your husband :)

I think there is a saying that goes “Be stingy with your schedule, and generous with your time”

I know Jordan Peterson mentioned in a video that some of the most basic ways of living a happier life is waking up at the same time everyday, immediately eating breakfast upon waking up, and getting on a schedule. write down how you would like a day to look like for you. Things you would like to accomplish. Then carve out a schedule. This is where you can see where you can either delegate or complete independently.

It’s also important it is in a schedule/routine you learn to prioritize what is important in your life/work. From there you can create balance!

Title: Work life balance?

Full text: I’m trying to take more accountability for my husband feeling defeated when he comes home and I am too busy for him. I own 3 businesses that do very well, and I’m busy.

What are some ways you guys disconnect from work when your spouse comes home? It feels SO easy to say, just pause for a second and greet him. Sometimes he walks in at inopportune times and I’m so frustrated and make a montone hello or will ignore him because I’m busy. I’m aware this isn’t nice or helpful and it’s definitely only come on since adding a 3rd business.

Can anyone relate and like kick me in the rear for ways to be nicer and things to remind myself?
