Iron John by Robert Bly.

I read it in hopes it would give me insight for improving my younger brothers fatherless home. Its wonderful, its a 'journey of the masculine' nonfiction read. Your brain will soak it in like a sponge.

(Matter of fact if you have a wife/SO that you want to introduce to the RP, have her read this book.)

I like Maxims of la Rouchefoucault better than Marcus Aurelius, athough the latter is more popular.

Aurelius, a Stoic, studied Epictetus his entire life. I would add Epictetus, Encheiridion, a brief and nearly perfect treatise on becoming a truly sovereign man. Aurelius' longer work is far more easily approached if the Encheiridion (sometimes titled The Handbook) is committed to memory first.

Art of War is good but The 33 Strategies of War by Robert Green is better. I highly suggest checking it out. It's unbelievable good for applying the strategies to your life.

Hmm, sort of, keep in mind those books by themselves are fine, none matter at all if there is no implementation. To get lost in them is to become locked in your own head.

Body building, Marketing and Sales, belong on that list.
