7% Thoery [deleted] March 20, 2018 106 upvotes /r/TheRedPill I think I discovered something pretty weird. While watching the Cathy Newman/Jordan Peterson debate she mentioned that only 7% percent of the CEOs on the FTSE 100 were female in a disingenuous attempt to label this as sexism or female oppression. I thought well Cathy what about the ratio of workplace deaths? I looked it up and the same amount of workplace deaths in the UK was 7%. I put forward it’s the same chutzpah that puts your life at risk that allows you to ruthlessly navigate the corporate world. I looked for evidence on this and was surprised to find nothing online with this sort of comparison and did some more research of my own and what I found was very interesting. The amount of women doing male dominated activities in every area is 6-8% in various unrelated areas. 6.4% Of Female CEO’s on Furtune 500 http://fortune.com/2017/06/07/fortune-women-ceos/ 7.5 Female workplace deaths in US https://www.investors.com/politics/commentary/how-come-nobody-talks-about-the-gender-workplace-death-gap/ 7% Of Firefighters are women http://money.cnn.com/2016/06/07/smallbusiness/female-firefighter-erin-regan/index.html 7% Percent of Women are truck drivers https://www.bizjournals.com/dallas/news/2018/03/07/heres-how-the-trucking-industry-can-attract-more.html 5-7% Of Women are involved in Crypto https://www.forbes.com/sites/lamjackie/2017/12/10/where-are-the-women-in-the-blockchain-network/#60b962c5530a Interestingly 7.3 percent Of (all) people have served in the Military in their lives https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/what-percentage-of-americans-have-served-in-the-military/ 7% Of Sexual Predators are reported as Female https://www.dividedstatesofwomen.com/2017/11/2/16597768/sexual-assault-men-himthough Shocklngly 93% of hypergamous women were more likley to marry a man who made more than them. I think if it was all up to choice we might see that magic number again. http://www.huffingtonpost.co.za/entry/stay-at-home-fathers_n_7261020 7% Of Men colour thier hair http://articles.latimes.com/2012/jan/29/image/la-ig-mens-hair-color-20120129 7% Of Men read romance novels http://www.sheknows.com/entertainment/articles/1030239/7-percent-of-men-do-what-fun-facts-about-romance-novels 5% Of Protagonists in Movies Are Women https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/22/movies/women-hollywood-study.html 5% of Kindergarten Teachers Are Men https://www.google.com/search?q=percentage+og+kingertgetn+teachers&oq=percentage+og+kingertgetn+teachers&aqs=chrome..69i57j0.16255j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 I think it's pretty interesting thought around 6%-8% of women have masculine traits, or possibly 7% of Women are possible unicorns? /s Honestly, looking for input on how this could be applied, but it looks like around 7% of people think and have behaviors of the opposite sex and it should be accounted for. EDIT: *7% Theory ffs
