Are you sure?

Where do the majority of poor people come from these days? Single parent families are disproportionately poor. There is a correlation, and while it isn't causation, being an effective single parent is FUCKING hard.

Feminism encourages women to fuck over their husbands and family for some vague idea of independence and empowerment starting the cycle. There is a reason there was a book comparing poor whites and rich whites, statistically, to understand the death spiral occurring amongst low-income people. I can't remember the name but it is in my library somewhere. Death of white america? Something like that. Great read. Covers marriage pretty well. I think we all agree here that the death of the family is a direct result of feminism. Everything else, and I mean everything, follows.

Edit: feminism cannot exist without the coercive power of the state, so perhaps state overreach is also a direct result of feminism.

No, seriously. Do you HONESTLY think whatever child you get a woman to shit out is going to have an impact on the world? The chances are slim and EVEN IF they do, what the fuck do you get out of it that is any different than going down to an orphanage and hand picking a bastard son to raise when you know you are personally ready.

Sure, if your genes are perfect and you have your head so far up your own ass you think you can raise the next world leader that will single handedly bring back traditional morals, then go ahead, pop out a kid. But guess what, the odds are way against you. It's much easier to your own life to just NOT have a spawn. And if you change your mind, they are kinda like stray animals, you can always go down to the shelter to get one.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought most docs wouldn't give perform a vasectomy until the patient is around 25 yrs old. I was 38 when I had it done, so I didn't have to think about it at all, and I already have kids, and divorced, and child support...out the freaking wazoo.

Being the sub-reddit this is, you're likely in here for, among other reasons, self-empowerment. If so, it is extremely empowering, as a man, to be able to say, "FU, I will not be entrapped through forced fatherhood, nor will I be used as a walk-up cash vending machine." I found that out too late, after multiple marriages, darned near every cent I've made being taken, and having to continually deal with shitty exes. I love my kids, but had I known how some women can turn in an instant and have no qualms about using the courts against me, I would have gotten the vasectomy much earlier in life.

I'm 43 years old, not a cent in savings and it's nobody's fault but my own. I own it. I made the stupid mistakes. The best decision I've made has been the vasectomy. STD's aside, I could fuck with reckless abandon and not worry about having any more kids.
