TL/DR: OPs post corresponds with SMV and we dive into what the rational male defines as alpha. Alpha behaviors are manifestations of an alpha mindset.

I'm going to have to disagree with OP here, as this is more SMV(not to mention we have a graph for this) and I'll reference The Rational Male(TRM) by Rollo Tomassi which I use as a foundation for TRP concepts(alpha mindset here).

*Lets go over a couple points from TRM *

-Alpha is a mindset, not a demographic -You are not Alpha because of your achievements. -You have your achievements because you are Alpha. -Alpha behaviors are manifestations of an alpha mindset.

What many believe in the community is that everyone posses Beta and Alpha traits, but those that are Alpha have more of the latter.

An example from the book, is this 16 yo kid - Corey Worthington threw a huge party and caused 20,000$ worth of damage. He displays the most raw example of the alpha mindset when being interviewed. To quote TRM on this kids frame “He literally is Alpha, unclouded by pretense, afterthought, or conscious awareness of any influence that could have a hope of prompting introspection on his state.” This quote comes to mind when we discuss the topic of the alpha/beta mindset.

So where does he fall on the graph? x-axis: HS kid + no job + -20k from party + i'll give him one point here y-axis: looks like a clown + avg height +16yo+ physically fit + hard to tell

This puts him close to your basement loser, but in his interview he is a boss by maintaining frame, passing her judgmental bs and being outcome independent. From what we've have defined as being alpha it does not encompass what you've mentioned on the x and y axis, being alpha is a mindset(WOW the redundancy!). Check out SMV posts and that SMV graph (https://therationalmale.com/2013/06/20/smv-ratios-attachment/), and you'll notice that working on the things you mentioned pertain to SMV.

Caution: Discussing the alpha/beta topic with the unplugged is dangerous, they have their own subjective view on what these mean and it will only cause them to feel insulted, angry or subtle resentment towards us.

Why the fuck are people even quantifying SMV? It can't be quantified period. This just makes you sound pseudo-intelligent and an insecure little bitch hiding behind numbers.

As a broad framework learning tool - one tool among others - I guess it's okay. I don't really see how it could be much use beyond that.
