I've been confused on how to end things w a girl. Especially not knowing whether you want to see her again. I have always maintained no connection I don't even follow them. No blocking but no point of touch either. But lately I guess social media is the new thing.

Another thing. I don't enjoy using Instagram as much. Is it possible to thrive without being active on social media or is it nice to have a presence?

Thanks for the AMA; this subreddit has genuinely helped shift my perspective, and I’ve really loved your posts.

I don’t fully identify with the Red Pill, and I still struggle with feelings of inferiority and insecurity, even though others tend to see me very differently. I often worry that if people see the “real” me, I’ll be abandoned similar to what I experienced in childhood from my friends group.

Have you ever felt this way or similar? If so, how did you deal with it?

Half a year ago, I got divorced suddenly. Redpill helped me land my 10/10 soulmate and have an amazing time. I think I banked on living the exception though. I quit lifting (which was minimal anyway) and I let my relationships erode to bare bones. My primary focus was giving us a safe, stable, comfortable life. I dabbled at my dream ambitions, but it was just a small hobby. After ten years, from my perspective, My relationship with my dream wife went from 100% to her vanishing on me overnight while I was at my second job, and me eating shit and having to regenerate my identity from like 30% a person to maybe like 80% with room to grow.

She pretty much set up life elsewhere and got a new man that is nothing like me instantly.

Now that I'm finally getting myself together, with no way to return to wife-mommy heaven, I feel like I'm turning my life to point at my soul's ambition. To accomplish it, then experience life beyond that.

Chase that, bring the rest of my life in line to support that. Part of me wants to say that you can do everything right and things can still blow up. That its impossible to be everything x everything x infinite x infinite. But, I didn't lift and I didn't maintain relationships and I made our life/her life priority over mine, and I feel like I failed my unicorn by taking things for granted. I feel like I was doing my best, and this person who knew every thread of my soul dumpster dunked me while I was celebrating them (10 year anniversary).

But also, that's the game. I can be pissed that's the game, but I'm not unaware of it. Trying to circumvent it or take it for granted destroyed the best relationship of my life, and left me playing catch-up for half a year.

Sorry if this is wordy or not fit for this ama, but maybe there is something useful to be gleaned from this cautionary tale.

What's your TRP story?
Should leadership ever feel like a burden? The girl that got me into TRP gave me exactly that, it felt like I was somewhere between her daddy and someone who would fulfill a rape fantasy. But to me it felt like I might seriously hurt someone I care about.
