I've been on TRP for few months. I'm defintely not a top 20% male; at least not yet. I've been using some online dating apps recently, and I noticed that a huge number of good looking women will have something like this on their profiles:
"I'm tired of flakes and ghosting, blah blah, if you're just gonna ghost, just swipe left blah blah."
Whenever I read that, I feel frustrated because it's those women who ghost me. I think I understand why this is happening though.

The majority of women (top 80%) are chasing the same small number of men (top 20%) on these apps. These men have a lot of choices! They can have their pick. What those men are doing is stringing women along and keeping their choices open. Inevitably, ghosting will occur.

Because these top 80% of women are chasing those top 20% of men, guys like me (bottom 80% of men) are not getting attention from these women. We might get a first response or second and maybe once in a blue moon a date, but eventually, we get ghosted. They're stringing us along for the same reason top 20% males are stringing them along.

That leaves the bottom 20% females to chase after guys that they know they have a chance at having (bottom 80% males). These are usually the whales and the super old. So basically, it's a food chain. It goes something like this:
