My dad told me when I was a kid that my mother loved us (kids) and her parents then him. That always stuck with me. I think that’s one of the most redpill things I’ve ever heard.

It's weird for me. I was raised blue pill bc I had a stay at home mom that was around more than my working father. My father was excellent and is redpilled, however that didn't really translate in to him teaching me about it. He was a great father, played with me and my brother all the time growing up. I honestly don't have any complaints against him. The ideas just weren't ever brought up or isolated. He never gave me much advice on attracting women. I also never really asked much about it, but when I think about it now when he did it was redpilled. I just didn't understand it at the time.

I was under the impression like so many of us are that just being myself and nice was how to bag a quality girl that cared about me FOR ME.

Most parents or grandparents that grew up before or during the 60s are going to have a lot of redpill beliefs. My father experienced the first wave of feminism. In fact my mother was by the standards of those days a feminist. He pays lip service to feminist ideals. He certainly never sat me down and explained how women really work. At the same time though you can always see a that glimmer of sense shining through with people his age. If his words aren't, his actions are certainly red pill. He may have been the provider for his wife and family, but in his day that also meant he commanded respect from his wife and family.

I was raised by a single mom until I was 13 or so. and in that time there were two stepdads and then some boyfriends. I had some really lousy internal thoughts about all the things I was never supposed to be.

30 years later, I realize that my dad is stoic, strong, selfish, dependable, and not phased one bit about what anyone thinks about him. I realized that many of the things I heard about him growing up were flat lies or re-writing of history.

I wish I could say he taught me a lot, and in some ways he did. Eventually I had to figure it out for myself, just like he did.

Took me understanding the redpill to see it and appreciate it. Here's what I was missing:

My one time I had oneitis in college he actually told me my real solution was to date 20 other girls and I would forget about her
Was a police officer and I have never witnessed him back down in a confrontation in public even after he retired.
I told him about issues with a female friend and he didn't give me advice, he just told me she was psychotic and to stop thinking about it
Although he is nearly the youngest of eight kids, he took care of my ailing grandmother at his own expense when she was dying
Demonstrated how to draw attention in a crowd with humor and charm

Dependable, proud, tough, and willingly risked his life to save others and just considered it all part of being a man and my Dad

Once I found this sub and became familiar with it, I realized my father is TRP. Divorced parents, living in different states, I was raised in a womans world. Albeit, single mother, working graveyard, upbringing. Still was with him for summers and winter breaks. The proper code to life he instilled in my brother and I didn't become clear until TRP.

For all that I love and respect him more.

My dad is RP as fuck. Barely says a word. Giant beard. Has all kinds of hobbies: photography, geology, astronomy, web design, etc.... and is happily left alone to his own devices. Takes good care of Mom but never puts up with any shit, ever. Unshakable frame.

Nope. I was raised by a whiny pussy who called himself a father who would let my mother step all over him, complain that his problems were everybody else's fault and, for the life of me, has never lifted anything heavier than a beer since my birth.

My mother, on the other hand, very RP. I heard the words "be a man" from her. And, funny thing, she taught me every lesson a child should receive from a father. Kinda sad. But, she couldn't teach me everything about manhood.

I suspect that's part of the reason I'm here.

Bit of irony here, but my father espouses redpill beliefs - while being pretty beta. Might be due to the culture here - we're trapped between the Western and Asian speheres of influence, and men get the worst of both worlds.

Yes. My father exudes a lot of red pill qualities. He grew up in a small mill town pre ww2 when the world was a bit simpler. Started working in the mill at age of 14, 6 days a week. working with and learning from the old geezers. After his shift he'd go out fishing or collect and sell metal scraps. He is a great storyteller and has countless of stories of events and characters from this time and he's great at impersonating them. He is completely unselfconscious and I think this is important to be a good storyteller since you take in the people around you rather than being neurotic about your own presence.

He's laid back and witty with pretty much all women he encounters. He talks and jokes around with strangers effortlessly.

He's always had younger women in his life. My mother is 25 years younger and of a completely different breed. New agey live and let go-type who became obsessed with India after menopause lol. No wonder they broke up when I was 2.

And that's why I need to learn this stuff I guess. I only spent a fragment of my childhood and even less of my teens with my dad.

My father is pretty red pill, my mom was blue pill. The funny thing when analysin my parents is that I notice my father uses dread game all the fucking time. I used to think he was simply being kind of a dick to my mom, but nowadays I know better. Unfortunately my father seemed to assume that I would "get it" by myself and was pretty much hands-off with raising me. Strangely enough I find myself acting more and more like my father.

Dad's from Scotland and grew up being a hooligan/brawler, pretty red pill. I've always thought he was an overly aggressive asshole until I read this sub. Now I really appreciate his personality and realize why my mom puts up with that shit. She subconsciously loves it, no matter how much she verbally tells him to calm down and take it easy.

My father has great life lessons and stories to try and give me wisdom.

Unfortunately, at the same time my mother has worn him down over the years and his red pill days are long over.

He used to drink, fuck, fight and be a badass. He's a shell of his former self though. It doesn't help he loses his frame when he's in an argument with my mother. She wins every time due to it.

I've never seen my father be anything but the Alpha male of the group. (Come to think of it he's kind of meek around his older brother.) He's not cocky, he does it with humour and he has has that natural "alpha vibe". I find it very inspiring how it comes so naturally to him. My mom is somewhat purple pill and I never understood their relationship until I read red pill theories. My dad went through a really rough period of depression a year or two ago, though. Now he's back to his tough self.

Grew up with divorced parents, saw my dad every 2nd week until about 14 or so, then irregularly. My mom taught me everything about shaving, dressing well, being humiliate yet allow no one to step on me or my rights, I remember one time she said that "as long as it is the woman that is laying on her back, she will be below in all aspects of life", ie that as long as women take the dick, and not vice versa, she will never be a leader or innovator or...

I asked her now (early 20ies) if she was afraid when we grew up that we would lack a father figure, and that would show later. She got teary eyed and answered of course. Both my older brother and I have no problem with attracting women, and in general we are both successful and determined, a lot of people see us as slightly misogynist, but we're just like, OK, whatever. My mom is definitely RP.

My dad is on his 3rd marriage and is a total fucking doormat to my stupid, fatass stepmother.

He is 6 and a half feet of pussy.

Luckily, he wasn't around that much and my (paternal) grandfather stepped in.

He was a badass, WWII war vet, successful business owner, patriarch of the family. I learned a lot from that old guy.

Oddly, my maternal grandmother had a hand in my development too. She was from poor white trash but probably the happiest person I knew. She taught me not to let other people tear me down and to not take shit.

She has been in, and won, fistfights with men. Her brothers were bare knuckle boxers and pimps, her parents were abusive alcoholics. She just turned out to be tough as nails and pleasant as sunshine.

I miss those 2 people very much.

My dad has always been a leader. Seems like no matter where he goes or what he does, people inevitably defer to him to take charge. Just being around him was intimidating (still is, sometimes), because even though he never raises his voice and would crack a joke before he'd start a fight, he just has the whole presence of "do not fuck with me".

He's the 2nd youngest of 6 kids, both his parents died when he was a teenager, and he went from being a hustler to superintendent and part owner of a construction company. Been with my mom for 30 years.
